Colonization?

i have noticed that immigrants form culture groups.these groups maintain traditions from other cultures.the statue of liberty has always welcomed oppressed people wishing for freedom.thats America,i am concerned about the waves of immigrants that express distaine for democrcy.why are they here?will the time come when these minoritys become the majority?will my culture be trampled into extinction?
