Would religion evolve with us or will we evolve from it?

I think the world will always be bound by religion. Because everyone has a problems and people need to feel that there is something else out there than just us living our lives. Most people need something to believe in or they will feel like there is nothing to live for. Unless someday someone proves and has very good proof that religion is not necessary or not real maybe then there won't be religion. But in my opinion even if that does happen there will still be some people in the world that still believes. I'm sure people will still becoming up with new religions to fit they're faith and what they need or want to believe in though. Very good question though, makes you think. But ofcourse this is just my opinion =).
