What should I do with my boyfriend now?

My boyfriend was attacked a few months back by a gang of thugs that broke into the house they beat him up. He now hides under the bed wardrobe under blankets and things in case they come back so that they wont find him. I can hear him moving around at night since the head of our bead joins onto the wardrobe but he says he wont come out until morning. What should I do with him now ?
