yes, it could be that she is a little closed. It sounds like shes trying to find herself with the whole i'm single thing. The reason why she may sound so cold is because 1 shes isn't that genuine to any guy unless their really hot, or 2 the way you are asking her these questions. Make sure you sound casual and try to blend academics with social, and then personal questions, then she wont fell like shes being pressured to answer you. That way she'll probably say more. And if she doesn't (and you know that she is genuine then she is closed) say much dont react to it, act as though you knew what her full though was and just be cool.
