Don't say "get". Unless you want it to be a little humerous, take out the lasers part. If you do want humor it's fine. Your essay is not extraordinary (depending on your grade, it might be), but it gets the job done. The whole theme here is about the positive aspects of Earth, and you presented that well. Thumbs up.
