Where are you learning about 'magic'?
I first realized magic might be real in the early 90's, but at the time I couldn't find books about it anywhere in the TX area--I got my first books (Cabot's "Power of the Witch" and Cunningham's "Truth about Witchcraft Today") on a visit to San Francisco! Luckily, the times they have a'changed, and I know know of several "new age" bookstores in the area, the Barnes & Noble metaphysical section is thorough, and there's a local chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans for me to check in with sometimes! Most of my learning is book learning, but a great deal is practice, especially since my specialty is the magic of fiction... not magic as presented in fiction, but how writing manifests into a kind of alternate universe/magic.
